It’s about time.  If there’s one female skill I need, it’s the one that justifies spending $1000 on a pair of shoes.

Happy Birthday Freddie.

Movies, advertising, and comedy.  My three vices packed into one.

Music Series #2:  The Smashing Pumpkins - Saturday Night Live (1993)

One of the few childhood memories that completely holds up.  This performance slightly changed my life.

Sidenote: also digging Don Draper on the drums.

Great little video old school innovation.  There’s almost too much information in here for 5 minutes.

Pretty good stuff here.  Too bad us Canadians can’t delight in Chick-Fil-A genius.  I should’ve sucked it up and eaten it during my Atlanta stopover….but it was 6 am!

Aziz Ansari is always talking about this deliciousness!

Brilliant advertising or misguided hipness?  I guess it was inevitable that Banksy would be co-opted….but by coppers?

It’s no secret that Banksy’s stencils are single-handedly tying the street art world together like The Dude’s rug did his living room in The Big Lebowski. But it’s one thing for it to be accepted by the mainstream, and something completely different to have law enforcement officials adopt wheatpasting for their own recruitment needs. Leave it to the Kiwis to do just that. Auckland-based agency M&C Saatchi and artist Otis Frizzell created these stencils using actual police events that occurred in the areas where the art crossed the thin blue line.

Is there a Gary Oldman character poster for this yet?  Sure to be one of the best movies of 2011 (2012?).
